I just wanted to give a quick shout-out to Chris Workman at Workman’s Auction. I had a house load of stuff I needed to get rid of because we moved into a smaller place. I was going to have a yard sale but it was getting to be a bit overwhelming (ok, a lot overwhelming) and I was stressing out over the whole thing. Plus, I’ve never had very good luck with yard sales, especially with our house being so far out of town. I asked for recommendations for an auctioneer to handle everything and got Chris’s name. He came out, said he could help us and boy did he! After we got everything out of the house we wanted to keep, her and his team came and organized, took pictures and got everything posted online in a weekend. Y’all, we had hundreds of items! The auction ran for two weeks and we ended up getting more than triple what I thought we would! He hauled away what didn’t sell and my house is empty now! He talked me through a couple breakdowns (it’s hard seeing stuff you love but can’t keep only go for pennies on the dollar) and was very nice and respectful through it all. Y’all - check him out if you have a ton of stuff to sell!!

I am posting this review on behalf of my mom who does not have Facebook and my family. I am forever grateful to Chris for taking such good care of my mom during her darkest hours. Not just her, but all of us. In March2022, my husband, Bob, experienced a serious health issue and was hospitalized on and off for several weeks and never able to return to work. He began dialysis and I left my place of employment to care for him. We decided we should sell our large home where we had lived for almost 30 years and raised our family and move to a much smaller home near our children. We listed our house for sale and purchased a small home and between dialysis trips I was trying to obtain utilities at our new location, and attempting to begin the process of going through our home and figuring out what we would be able to keep and what we would not. Sadly, Bob passed away and everything was put on hold. After the funeral, it hit all of us that there were still a million things to be done and one of those things would be to get everything out of the house. Both of our sons had major surgery the week Bob passed away and would be physically unable to assist in any type of physical activity for several weeks. We were all overwhelmed and living in a fog. The never ending paperwork was taking a toll and I was mentally, physically, and emotionally near the brink of my endurance. That’s when I heard about estate sales and I found Chris Workman. He has been my knight in shining armor. Once I spoke with him over the phone and he explained the process to me I felt a huge burden lifted off my shoulders. He explained that the ONLY thing I needed to do would be to take care of myself- to move what I wanted and to leave the rest right where it was –that he would take care of everything! AND HE DID EXACTLY THAT! Once the sale commenced, he would provide occasional updates throughout the process, such as, there were people from Florida, California, and Utah bidding and that the online auction had over 77k views! The evening the sale was complete Chris called and told me the amount of the sale and I was flabbergasted! I never imagined that we would receive such an impressive amount or that he and his lovely wife would hand deliver the money to me. I now feel as if they are part of our family. Chris was compassionate, kind, and professional from beginning to end and I would recommend his services to anyone!

I met Chris after being recommended him by a few friends. I was needing to have some type of Estate Sale/Auction to empty the contents of my father in law's home in Jonesboro. After speaking to a few different people, it was clear that Chris was the person for the job. He explained to us how his process worked, and was in the home working (mind you, 2 1/2 hours away from our homes) in less than 5 days. Maybe a day or two later, the auction was live. Chris works fast and efficiently!! We were SO happy with the results, it was right on target with what we anticipated. Had we used anyone else, we would have been eaten alive on commission. Some people we spoke with before finding him wanted 50% commission on top of wanting to do a "half price" sale on day 3 of an estate sale. This was definitely the way to go. On top of all of that, when people came to get their items at the home, since it is so far away, he volunteered to bring back some items that my mother had won in the auction to save her the trip from Jonesboro. It was totally kind, and he did not have to do that. This was a long auction, three weeks to be exact. During this time, Chris stayed in constant communication with my husband and I. "Oh crap! I forgot to tell you DO NOT sell this" stuff like that...and was eager to help and quick to respond. I like that a lot in people that I do business with, and it is a dying breed to have someone meet and exceed my expectations. He did. I am so thankful we found him, and I'd gladly do business with him again and again. Thank you, Chris!

When Chris said he'd sell it all, leaving me with less than 2 % to dispose of, he meant it and kept to his word. Chris made it effortless; he was so well organized. The day went off without a hitch. Chris auctioned for 5 1/2 hours straight, no break. No way could I have done this alone and not even with the help of all of my cousins pitching in. Chris and his team did it all --- advertising, organizing, setting up, selling, a complete accounting for what was sold --- and at the most reasonable fee you'll find. As a novice to the estate auction experience, I was unsure of the process and how the organizing and execution of the sale would be handled. Chris Workman and the team at Workman's Auction were true professionals.

The entire contents of a 2100 square foot home and a detached 24X32 workshop were meticulously catalogued and readied for sale. Weeks prior to the auction, Chris called & texted, keeping me informed on the progress. Moreover, five weeks before the actual auction date, pictures of the sale items were displayed on his website, encouraging buyers to attend.

The day of the sale was a testament to this planning. A consummate professional, Chris and his colleagues were on site two hours before the auction opened to the general public, making sure precisely at 10 am, the sale would begin. Five hours later, the sale was over. Two hours after the sale, Chris called to report a preliminary total. Needless to say, our auction was a success.

This success isn't accidental. Chris Workman's planning and execution are exemplary. He demonstrates professionalism with his clients, and yet, the entire process was like working with an old friend. In my opinion, there isn't anything better.
